VILLA DOBRIC

VILLA DOBRIC

Villa Dobric is located just a few meters from the Fruit Square that used to be the heart of the ancient Split and across the church of the Lady of Dobric. In the 16th century the Uskok from Klis brought to this church a painting of the Holly Mother with the Child so they could keep it safe from the Turkish invaders.

The building dates from the year 1890 and the remains of the baroque town walls are under UNESCO protection; therefore, they had to be preserved accordingly.

The information desk, lobby bar and the four rooms above make this building quite pleasant both for short and long stay.

Two single rooms are on the first floor. Each room is equipped with one matrimonial bed, bathroom with shower and toilet, mini bar, wireless internet connection and air conditioning.

Each room has a view of the old city walls and different palaces that surround the Villa and that used to belong to the high society of ancient Split.

On the second floor there are two two-storey double rooms. Downstairs area is equipped with a sofa, coffee table, a closet, a desk and a large bathroom with toilet and shower tub, while upstairs on the gallery there is a double bed. All other facilities are equal to those in single rooms.

Each room has a view of the old city walls and different palaces that surround the Villa and that used to belong to the high society of ancient Split.

The quiet lobby bar with comfortable interior and outside terrace is available all day; there you will find the sitting room with internet access, a few books at disposal and relaxing background music.

Hundred years old walls of original appearance contribute to special experience while you are drinking a cup of hot, fragrant drink.
